How does joining work at the counter? The customer does it all from their own phone, with no app. They tap the stand, scan the code or text the word, read your offer and send one text that is already typed, or fill the form on the same page. Every stand and sticker carries a QR code next to the chip, and the join word can go on a check, bag or invoice. A customer scans the code and lands on the same join page, or texts the word straight to your number. The page also takes a short form: name, number and a consent card they tap. What doesn’t Tap to Join do? Tap to Join only collects sign-ups that a customer makes themselves, by text or on your join page.
