Free online reputation grader

See how your Google listing scores, and who is beating you nearby.

Search your business, pick it from the list, get a score out of 100 with the part to fix first, next to the three businesses closest to you.

How is the score built?

Four parts add up to 100. Every weight is listed here so you can see what moved your number and why.

What moves the score?

  • Ask after every job

Review count carries 40 of the 100 points and climbs on a log scale, so the first 10 reviews move the needle more than the next 90.

  • Reply to the low ones

Rating is 30 points. A public reply does not change the stars, but fixing what a 2-star review names stops the next one.

  • Fill in the profile

Hours, website, phone, three photos. 20 points, and the only part you can finish this afternoon.

  • Keep them coming

Recency is 10 points. A review every month or so holds it; a quiet six months drops it to zero.

Questions

Is this Google's own score?

No. Google does not publish a reputation score. This number is ours, built from the public Business Profile data Google returns for your listing: rating, review count, the fields you have filled in, and the dates on your newest reviews. The weights are in the table above.

Why can't the grader find my business?

The search reads Google Maps listings. If your business has no public address (a service-area business), search the name exactly as it appears on Maps plus the city you serve.

If it still does not show, your listing may not be verified yet. Finish verification in your Business Profile, then try again.

How often should I re-check?

Once a month is plenty. Review count and recency are the parts that move, and they move at the speed you ask customers.

Does this store anything?

No. We ask Google for your listing when you click, show you the result, and keep nothing. No email, no account, no record of the search.

Make the asking automatic.

Mark a job done. Two hours later, your customer gets a Google review ask in your words. If they forget, one reminder follows. $127 a month, first location included. No contract.
